My name is Troy Nicar and I’ve been playing drums and teaching drum lessons in Houston and surrounding areas (Sugar Land and Katy, TX) since 1978. All I do is play and teach drums.
Whether you haven’t even bought your first drumset yet or you’re a pro looking to refine your skills, I’d love to take you on as a student and help you become the drummer you want to be. I’m equally comfortable teaching total beginners through advanced students. You’ll find I’m an extremely patient drum teacher. I know what to teach you, how to teach it, and how to make it fun for you. That’s been a large focus of my life.
